No referrals are needed to start service, direct access means you may reach out directly to a physical therapist for treatment/assessment. If acutely injured this can save you time to start treatment, starting treatment early typically allows for a quicker return to your activity or sport. Referral to a physican will always be considered for acute injuries.
Appointments can be done in the comfort of your home, your work, your gym (permission may be needed from owner/manager). Currently this will be mainly evening times, or times during the weekend. This can be arranged prior to visit. The amount of visits are not limited nor dictated by insurance. There is no expectation of 2-3x a week for set number of weeks, as many clinics do this as part of their reimbursement model. There is no need to have someone watch you do the same exercises repeatedly; I can provide you better value for your time.

I am an out of network provider, meaning that I do not take insurance. Services are an out of pocket cost. However, I can provide you with an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance, possibly for partial reimbursement (check with your insurance company to see if you have out of network benefit). Being out of network allows for efficient treatment and efficient use of your time, without limiting constraints from insurance or clinical billing practices.

Out-of-network practice model can allow Physical Therapists (PTs) to avoid restrictions placed on their services by insurance companies that interfere with their ability to help patients reach their goals. This also allows you the choice to find the right PT for your goals.

With me youโll get great quality of care & time Savings:
1-on-1 Care: In a cash-based clinic, you'll receive 1-on-1 attention from the therapist during each session. This allows for more individualized treatment, which may lead to faster recovery. Being able to tailor the program specifically to your needs and make adjustments to your plan more efficiently.
Insurance Clinic: In an insurance-based clinic, the therapist may not be able to dedicate as much time to your specific needs, as they are commonly seeing multiple patients at once. This can result in slower progress and potentially require more visits. Insurance may limit them using various treatments where you may still have to pay out of pocket or possibly miss out on that option.
